Admission Requirements for International Students
- Letter from the Ethiopian Higher Education Relevance and Quality Agency (HERQA) for the certification of your educational documents.
- Scanned certified copies of your original academic documents (Degree(s) and academic transcript(s)) must be attached to your application. Any documentation not in English must be translated and sworn to by an authorized translator.
- The criterion for admission to certain programs varies from one program to another. Prospective applicants are advised to consult the faculty concerned or department directly in order to determine the requirements for admission, before submitting an application.
- The requirements for the English language Proficiency:
- Applicants who attended their previous studies where English is the medium of instruction are eligible, and evidence should be attached;
- Applicants from English speaking countries are eligible;
- Applicants who do not fulfill the above two requirements should include a valid IELTS (Academic) or TOEFL certificate to be eligible.
- Applicants require an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.5) or an equivalent TOEFL score.
- TOEFL-iBT overall score of at least 70 (no band score less than 21) or TOEFL Paper-Based score of at least 500.
